Summary: We understand that the climate of "dogged nice guys" has changed since 2001, but let's look at this from a modern standpoint. A nerdy guy wants someone to dance/have sex with him because he's such a loser in his own eyes, and gets screwed over by one of them. Okay, maybe this isn't quite an incel story, but it sure is a scary one.

History: Back when everyone was in high school, Jeremy Melton was perhaps the wussiest kid around. This guy had no hope of getting a date, and every attempt ended in humiliation. Sure, some were more polite turning him down, but others, not so much. It all came to a head when pretty Dorothy tricked him into making out with her, ending with her framing him as a creep and getting him sent off to reform school. Ouch. Well, Jerry's back thirteen years later, under the alias of Adam Carr, and he's moonlighting as a serial killer to get back at the girls. All of them.

Notable Kills: All deaths are based on the victims' rejections, such as "rather be boiled alive" as being electrocuted in a bathtub and "In your dreams" as being killed while stiff hiding in a body bag.

Final Fate: After much carnage, the masked killer is shot to death...by Adam. It turns out that he dressed Dorothy up, and now has tricked the sole survivor into thinking that he's innocent. Alas, Adam/Jeremy allows the girl to live due to her rejection being the most polite.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-The phrase "be careful who you pick on in school" is in full effect here. Not only does the killer have a very unsettling cupid mask, but his methods are rather grim. Also, he's got brains, so outsmarting him is going to be a titanic exercise.

Trivia: -For those wondering, an involuntary celibate, or incel, is a person who feels entitled to have sex with girls because he feels like he's been rejected for too long. They are depressingly common on the internet especially. And worse, many turn their frustration into a capacity to murder. All because they couldn't get a date. I'm single as of the time of this writing, and I think these people suck!

-Rather ironically, Jeremy/Adam was played by David Boreanaz, whose best known for playing as Angel, one of the most popular characters from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" who even got a spin-off named after him.
